Backend Developer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Backend Developer to join our UniQue team. What will you be doing in this role?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end web applications.
• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Implement core business logic and develop APIs.
• Design and manage databases, servers, and data storage solutions.
• Ensure application security, data protection, performance, and scalability.
• Maintain code quality, integrity, and organization, writing clean and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot, test, debug, and optimize applications to improve functionality and performance.
• Participate in system architecture and software design, taking technical lead on projects when required.

• Master's degree in IT and minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience (or Bachelor and minimum 11 years of experience).
• Proficiency with back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, J2EE, PHP, Spring boot and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Experience with business rules engines such as Drools and workflow engines such as Camunda, Flex etc.
• Previous experience with database technology such as Oracle, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN.
• Familiar with procurement budget implementation and/or procurement contracts management.
• Advanced English (C1) communication skills (written and spoken).
